Candle Making Workshop Waiver + Policies

By reserving a seat for a Modern Zen Candle Company candle making workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Reservation Policy

Workshop reservations are required in advance and seating is limited.

Your reservation secures your seat for the selected class date and time. Because seating is limited and materials are prepared in advance, reservations must be made prior to the workshop date.

Attendance Policy

Each guest attending the candle making workshop must have their own purchased ticket/reservation.

Due to limited seating, materials provided, and class capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests, observers, or shared reservations without a ticket.

Every participant creating a candle and attending the workshop must reserve their own seat in advance.

Cancellation + Rescheduling Policy

To receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled workshop.

If you need to reschedule your class date, please contact us at info@modernzencandle.com and we will do our best to move your reservation to a future class date based on availability.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable; however, a store credit may be issued toward a future candle making class.

No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Age Requirement

Workshops are recommended for ages 13 and older.

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian due to the use of hot wax, heated equipment, and fragrance materials.

Safety Acknowledgement

Participants understand that candle making involves hot wax, heated equipment, fragrance oils, and materials that may cause burns, spills, or injury if not handled properly.

By participating, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the workshop and to act responsibly throughout the experience.

Modern Zen Candle Company is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or misuse of materials during the workshop.

Candle Pickup

Candles require time to cure after pouring and will be ready for pickup the following day unless otherwise stated.

Customers will be notified if pickup timing changes for any reason.

Photo + Video Release

By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge and agree that photos and video may be taken during the class for marketing, social media, website, and promotional use by Modern Zen Candle Company.

By reserving your seat, you grant permission for Modern Zen Candle Company to use images and video captured during the workshop without compensation or additional approval.

Agreement

By completing your reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Candle Making Workshop Waiver + Policies.

You acknowledge the safety risks involved, agree to follow all workshop instructions, and accept the reservation, cancellation, attendance, and media policies outlined above.
